Bust a Crust! You’ll feed your body and your soul-while helping to end senior hunger.
We’re making it easy for you to eat well this Thanksgiving while at the same time doing well.
All you need to do is: Bust a Crust! Here’s the scoop:
Between October 15 and November 15, we’re taking online orders for delectable pies--each made by some of the best pastry chefs in town. Every pie purchased will enable Meals on Wheels Southwest OH & Northern KY to feed a senior in our community for an entire week!
We are also honored to be offering a homegrown classic — Frisch’s Pumpkin Pie! Frisch's Big Boy is our Prized Pie Presenter. You can treat your family to this traditional holiday favorite AND support seniors in our community for just $30 per pie!
This year's featured celebrity pie is from Chef Jean-Francois Flechet from Taste of Belgium. His Apricot White Chocolate Pie is inspired by Belgian baking. We think you’ll love JF’s modern twist on a Belgian classic!
We will once again have our legendary selection of pumpkin, pecan, apple, and sweet potato pies donated by our generous Pie Masters. This year we will also have gluten-free pumpkin available. Be a hero and order pies for friends, families, colleagues, and neighbors! Knowing a Bust a Crust! pie helps feed hungry seniors makes Thanksgiving even more special.
You can also choose to donate pie to one of the seniors we serve.
Pies will be available for pickup on November 20 at Xavier University's Dining Commons. Covid-safe protocols are carefully followed and pick up on November 20 is curbside, drive thru only.
