Bust a Crust! You’ll feed your body and your soul-while helping to end senior hunger.
Meals on Wheels Southwest OH & Northern KY thanks Hyde Park UMC for your generous support of our new event - Bust a Crust! Your amazing community is making it easy for you to eat well this Thanksgiving while at the same time doing well.
Between October 16 and November 19, we’ll be taking online orders for delectable pies--each made by some of the best pastry chefs in town. Every pie purchased will enable Meals on Wheels Southwest OH & Northern KY to feed a senior in our community for an entire week!
You’ll be able to choose from four types: apple, pecan, pumpkin, and sweet potato. What’s more, you can not only order pies for yourself, but for family, friends and clients. Knowing that their Bust a Crust! pie is helping to feed hungry seniors in our area will make Thanksgiving even more special for them.
Pies can be picked up November 22 - November 25 at the Hyde Park UMC. If you have any questions, please feel free to email Kate Smith at ksmith@hpcumc.org or 513-871-1345. Please note that pies will be frozen and will have instructions on how to prepare. The fair market value of each pie is $5.19.
